A Conclusion to my blog?

This semester has flown by it seems. I was skeptical when I first started this blog back in August, but over the weeks I have learned to appreciate what people have to say in them. Dr. Spencer was right when she said we just don’t have enough time to talk about everything we’d like to in sports, and I feel that these blogs have offered an outlet to learn about topics outside the classroom.

I would like to think that I will keep up with my blog, even after the semester is over. Going into the media world, a blog wouldn’t be a bad place to start working on. I think these blogs let us express our own sport’s interests. It really was fascinating to learn about the history of some of the sports in class, but I feel that more of the modern day issues are what we feel more passionate about. Dr. Spenser, I would encourage you to continue to use the blogs in your classes. With the world slowly but surely revolving around computers, the blog assignment can only improve student’s use of working on the internet.

I really don’t know what else to say about the blogs or my conclusion. I had a blast in class, and this was by far my most favorite class this semester. I just want to wish everyone good luck in the next semester, and good luck in wherever their career will take them.

  1. Thanks Brendan, for your reflections on the class. I was glad you took the class, and always enjoyed reading your observations, since you are one day going to be a member of the media. I hope you will continue to keep your blog. Just like your last entry on college football, I think a lot of people would be interested to read your views. You might want to talk to Brad Frank about writing for The Bleacher Report. Good luck with your future endeavors.
